 Golden Care is currently developing Supported Independent Living (SIL) services designed to provide safe, consistent, and participant-focused support. Our SIL arrangements will be staffed by trained Disability Support Workers, with 24-hour support available in accordance with individual participant needs and NDIS plans.

 Golden Care supports participants to access Short Term Accommodation (STA) and respite services funded under the NDIS. We can assist with planning short breaks or holidays that align with individual support needs, goals, and preferences.

Our team can support participants with itinerary planning and accommodation arrangements, either at a suitable accommodation option identified by the participant or at an accommodation setting that meets their support requirements. Disability Support Workers are available to assist in line with the participant’s NDIS plan, ensuring supports are delivered safely and respectfully throughout the stay.

Golden Care aims to support participants to experience a well-planned break while maintaining continuity of care and support.

Golden Care provides trained Disability Support Workers to assist participants with domestic support in their own home, in accordance with their NDIS plan and individual needs.

We recognise that each participant’s home environment and preferences are unique. Our support workers deliver assistance respectfully and in line with the participant’s preferred routines, priorities, and instructions. Supports are provided in a manner that promotes independence, dignity, and choice, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.

Golden Care supports participants who may require assistance to access and participate in the community, in line with their NDIS plan and individual goals.

Our Disability Support Workers can provide support to attend community activities and appointments, including grocery shopping, medical or allied health appointments, and social or recreational activities such as attending the cinema. Supports are delivered respectfully and in accordance with participant preferences, promoting choice, independence, and community inclusion.

Golden Care recognises that maintaining a safe and enjoyable home environment includes maintaining the garden and outdoor areas appropriately. Well-maintained outdoor spaces can support comfort, well-being, and independent living.

Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), garden maintenance may be an essential support for some participants. Golden Care assists in line with individual needs and approved NDIS plans, supporting participants to maintain their outdoor areas in a safe and practical manner.
